30 Day Blog Challenge- Day 21: Guilty Pleasure

Oh man..

Welp. I’m going to reveal myself.. I like Kpop. I guess this shouldn’t be the biggest surprise because I am Korean. My first concert ever was a Korean Music Festival when I was in middle school.

I’ve noticed I primarily like boy/girl bands from a particular entertainment company, JYP Entertainment with a few outliers here and there.

I can go down a rabbit hole on Youtube of the music shows they’ve been on, their variety shows the member have been on.

I’ve developed a “bias” for certain members. The music is just so catchy. Their personalities are funny or they just have that star quality, where you’re like wow, they are so talented.

Along with this guilty pleasure, those pre-debut competitions to make it into the band got me hooked. Currently, JYP is making a new Japanese girl group.

UGH I KNOW!! It’s embarrassing. I can’t help it.
