My 2015 resolution was to visit ICELAND and to travel to a foreign country by myself. Iceland was a perfect fit. It completely safe for solo female travelers! It has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

Iceland is also #2 most sustainable country in the world, according to EPI. Iceland meets virtually all of its electricity and heating needs from renewable resources. It is a world leader in generating sustainable geothermal energy.

My favorite way to get around NYC!

How do I get around Manhattan/Brooklyn?

1. Public Transportation (mainly Subway)

2. CitiBike

3. Taxi

In NYC, sometimes it’s faster to bike to your destination than to use the the bus or the subway. Manhattan has bike lanes on certain streets making it safer to bike. The city also has bike signs to landmark destination like the Hudson River, or Brooklyn Bridge.
