First Blog Post! How exciting!

There’s so many questions about living a sustainable life. I have so much to learn!

“Creating a sustainable lifestyle takes a lifelong commitment – to learning, experimenting, exploring, committing to increasingly sustainable practices and, above all, loving.”

Transparency is so important in sustainability/sustainable fashion. The decisions we make every day in a grocery store or a clothing store, can have repercussions that can harm our earth. It's important to be conscious what kinds of impact we're making.

Questions that we should be asking are, “who made my clothes?” or “Are the workers getting  fair wages and working in a safe work environment?”

So I’m going to be transparent with you. I’m not an expert in sustainability, but so far I’ve set my mind to it!

In fact,

-I’m just an earthling trying to make a difference.

-I’m a newbie transitioning into this earth-friendly lifestyle.

-I’m a beginner with habits, hoping to get rid of my wasteful ways.

I’m 24 years old. Recently, it was confirmed by my cousin, that I am indeed a millennial. In the middle of the social media obsessed craze, (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Youtube). I want to use them as a platform to inspire people to care and make conscious choices. Give tips and tricks to make it easier to help the earth!

“Shifting to a sustainable lifestyle may involve making radical shifts in how we spend our days. Integrating these changes into our lives involves first shifting toward wanting to make each change”

Once I become more informed and knowledgeable about this subject, I’ll comply resources together.

But for now, i’ll be sharing little lessons i’ve learned on this road to sustainability

Adios for now!
